MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Overview

In an effort to support you and your real estate career, The DOMO Group has developed a Mentorship program for you to work directly with a Mentor. The Mentor will guide you through the many facets of a real estate transaction and coach you in developing your skills you need in order to be successful. 

The goal of this program is to assist you in learning the process and tools associated with completing your first few transactions as well as productive involvement with lead generation and our systems.

Details

PHASE ONE

DURATION: 2-4 Months

  • 80% Sr's real estate assistant, 20% Jr's production

  • Jr working on any and all simple real estate tasks delegated by Sr: Tasks include transaction assistance, Sr's lead database management, social media content creation for the Sr, opening doors for buyers, etc...

  • Jr shadowing Sr on everything

  • Sr assigning and reviewing homework like RPA/offer package

  • Plenty of role playing together

  • Sr shares 10% of their take with Jr, in exchange for Jr's availability to work tasks 5-6 days/wk

  • If Jr closes a deal during this phase, Sr gets 50% of Jr's take in exchange for on-the-job training and walking the Jr through the transaction. Jr graduates to Phase Two immediately following the closing of Jr's first deal. (lease deals excluded)

Phase two

DURATION: 3-6 Months

  • 50% Sr's assistant, 50% Jr's production

  • Jr working on simple and more complex tasks/projects delegated by Sr

    •  transaction assistance, lead database management and follow up, to social media content creation for the Sr

  • Jr should now have more leads in their own database and be prospecting them regularly

  • Still Plenty of role playing together, and Sr giving feedback on Jr's lead calls

  • light shadowing still taking place

  • Sr shares 10% of their take with Jr, in exchange for Jr's availability to work tasks 5-6 days/wk

  • Sr gets 40% of Jr's take in exchange for guiding Jr through the transaction. Jr likely graduates to Phase Three after closing 3-5 deals and is brimming with confidence. (lease deals excluded)

PHASE TWO COMMISSION SPLITS

If Jr closes a buyer during this phase, Splits between Jr, Sr, and Domo are as follows:

  • Jr 40%

  • Sr 30%

  • Domo 30%

If Jr closes a listing during this phase, Splits between Jr, Sr, and Domo are as follows:

  • Jr 25%

  • Sr 25%

  • Domo 50%

PHASE THREE

20% Sr's assistant, 80% Jr's production | 2-4 Months

  • Jr has completed at least 3 of their own transactions and now working mostly on their own pipeline. Still handling showings and some transaction tasks for Sr as needed

  • Jr should now have a very active database, and be spending majority of time prospecting and going after their own deals

  • Role playing together as needed, and Sr still giving feedback wherever needed.

  • Sr agent shares 10% of their take with Jr, in exchange for Jr's availability to work tasks 5-6 days/wk

  • Sr gets 30% of Jr's commission in exchange for supporting Jr through the transaction. Jr should be eager to prove their ability to handle a transaction start to finish with little to no help from Sr, at which time they may graduate out of the Jr Agent. (lease deals excluded)
